In-ground Bollards
In-ground Bollards are secured on Smart Sustainable Foundations using the Smart In-ground Impact Recovery System
Bollards remain rigid and cannot be deflected by hand. When impacted by a vehicle the Smart Impact Recovery Rings absorb the impact force (allowing bollard to deflect up to 20 degrees) and slowly safely self-recover impact after impact, year after year.
A more flexible version of rings is available for bike paths (Super-flex) To stop core bending refer to Smart Sure-stop option
SIMPLE TO REPLACE

If bollard is badly impacted the internal core may need replacing
- Undo security stud and slip off bollard
- Use industrial removal tool (or foot tool for modified units) to remove Internal core from ground socket.
- Replace internal core. Rings secured to core using screwdriver to tighten clamps. Impact Recovery Rings and Taper re-usable impact after impact
Surface Mount Bollards
Surface Mount Bollards are secured on a Heavy-Duty Reusable Base plate using the Smart In-ground Impact Recovery System
Bollards remain rigid and cannot be deflected by hand. When impacted by a vehicle the Smart Impact Recovery Rings absorb the impact force (allowing bollard to deflect up to 20 degrees) and slowly safely self-recover impact after impact, year after year.
