We remain rigid and perfectly aligned year after year (cannot be deflected by hand) but when impacted by a vehicle we deflect a maximum of 20 degrees before coming to a stop. We keep working folling thousands of impacts and the surrounding foundations become re-usable for the life of a development! Tested & proven.

Unlike spring loaded bollards we can't be deflected by hand, but when impacted by a vehicle we roll with the punches and like the true heroes we are, we slowly, elegantly self-recover, without any fuss!
WE CAN TAKE THE HARD KNOCKS
When severely impacted instead of hours of disturbance, all that rubble and money spent on new bollards and footings, you simply replace the resistance core (less than 5 minutes) and we're back on the job. No fuss!

We appear to be everyday bollards and cannot be deflected by hand, remaining rigid, perfectly aligned, safe and secure year after year only removable using tools

When impacted by a vehicle the internal shock absorbing mechanism absorbs the impact force allowing the bollard to deflect to a max of 20 degrees and slowly, safely self-recover (no springs that can wear out).

A strong resistance core prevents deflection beyond 20 degrees. When severely impacted by truck or vehicle at high speed, the resistance core can need replacing (taking less than 5 minutes) No digging or heavy labour.

Replacements are simple!

Reinstall same bollard
The resistance core is then dropped into the socket automatically locking in (or secured to base plate using a securing stud) , the bollard is simply slipped back on and the securing stud re-inserted.
